Yukon Provincial Nominee Program

Yukon, formerly known as the Yukon Territory, is located on Canada’s north western coast and is characterised by high plateaus and mountains. It is bordered on the east by the Northwest Territories, on the south by British Columbia, and on the west by the United States state of Alaska. Immigrants interested in settling in Yukon can do so through the Yukon Provincial Nominee Program (Yukon PNP).

Yukon is noted for its abundant mineral wealth, low population, and vast swaths of undeveloped wilderness. Whitehorse, Yukon’s capital, is home to more than two-thirds of the territory’s population. Aborigines make up nearly a third of the population. The rest of the population is descended from Europeans or is of mixed aboriginal and immigrant ancestry. In 2019, the Yukon PNP helped 310 immigrant families establish permanent status in the territory.
