New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program

What is New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program?

Foreign nationals with the required abilities, education, and work experience to contribute to New Brunswick’s economy are eligible to apply for the New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream. Candidates must meet the program’s minimum eligibility requirements, have a valid job offer from a New Brunswick employer, and plan to stay and work in the province indefinitely.

This project will also aid New Brunswick businesses that are unable to fill job openings with a Canadian citizen or permanent resident by assisting them in hiring foreign nationals and international graduates with in-demand skills.

How Many Points Required for New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program?

On the day their application is received by NB PNP, candidates must be between the ages of 19 and 55. On the New Brunswick Skilled Worker Applicant Points Assessment Grid, candidates must receive at least 60 points (out of 100).

What are the benefits of New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program?

The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program was established to help the province reap the benefits of immigration. Foreign nationals and foreign graduates fill job vacancies that companies are unable to fill as a result of Canada’s ageing population, and they start enterprises that provide additional jobs for New Brunswickers and benefit the local economy. New Brunswick hopes to welcome 7,500 newcomers per year through this programme by 2024. Find out more about the New Brunswick Provincial Nomination Program’s top immigration streams for 2021.

The Stream for Skilled Workers

Foreign citizens living in Canada or overseas who have received a full-time, permanent job offer from a New Brunswick company are eligible for the New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream. To be eligible for a provincial nomination, you must also achieve the minimum standards for this stream. Transport truck drivers (NOC 7511) have slightly different eligibility requirements, including a minimum of two years of prior experience in the field and six months of work experience in New Brunswick.

Stream of Strategic Initiatives

Incoming Brunswick’s goal, as Canada’s only constitutionally bilingual province, is for a third of new immigrants to be Francophones. The New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Stream is open to French-speaking workers from anywhere in the world who have a link to the province in one of three ways. To be eligible for a provincial nomination, you must also achieve the minimum standards for this stream.

The Express Entry Stream

On occasion, the Express Entry Stream in New Brunswick will invite candidates directly from the Express Entry pool. If you are selected, you will get a Notification or Letter of Interest (LOI) from the Province of New Brunswick, and you will need to register an INB account and submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Express Entry stream. Candidates are often chosen depending on the province’s labour market necessities.

The Stream for Business Immigration

The New Brunswick Business Immigration Stream is for experienced entrepreneurs who are ready to start, operate, and manage a business while permanently residing in New Brunswick. Based on the state of the New Brunswick labour market, the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training, and Labour (PETL) will consider specific types of enterprises or the purchase of an existing business.
