Nova Scotia had its own Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) called the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP). The NSNP had different streams, including the Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry stream, which targeted specific in-demand occupations.
The Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry stream didn’t have a fixed list of in-demand occupations, but it had some general eligibility criteria related to work experience in an occupation classified as Skill Type 0 (Managerial Occupations), Skill Level A (Professional Occupations), or Skill Level B (Technical Occupations and Skilled Trades) in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) system.
